Stikee Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Stikee ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you use Stikee, its widgets, and our website. It applies to our current US beta distributed through Apple TestFlight.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information from your paired partner and sign-in provider, and certain information generated when you use the service:

• Account and profile: Your email address, account identifier, basic profile information received through Apple or Google sign-in, and the display name and optional photo you provide.
• Shared content: Your pairing, shared-board content, and related activity, such as updates and completion status.
• Technical information: Identifiers used to deliver notifications, IP addresses, and basic connection and error information processed when you use the service.
• Beta participation and feedback: your invitation email, testing activity, and information you send us, including messages and screenshots. Apple automatically shares beta usage and crash information with us, as described in TestFlight & Privacy.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain Stikee, support shared boards and notifications, respond to requests, improve reliability, administer the beta, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Stikee has no advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We use information received through TestFlight to improve Stikee and do not disclose that TestFlight information to third parties.

3. How information is shared

Your partner. The person you pair with can see your display name, profile photo, and shared board, including notes and their status. Stikee does not make your profile or board public.

Service providers. We use service providers for sign-in, storage, security, notifications, and website hosting. They process information needed to provide those services, including note text for notification delivery.

Sign-in and beta services. Apple and Google process information when you use their sign-in services, and Apple operates TestFlight. Their own practices are described in the Apple Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, and TestFlight notice linked above.

We may also disclose information at your request or when required by law.

Note content may appear in widgets and notification previews, including on the Lock Screen, depending on your device settings.

4. Retention and deletion

Account information is generally retained while your account exists. Shared board content is retained while the pairing exists:

• Done or Delete: the sticky disappears from view, but its content and related records remain stored until the pairing ends or either account is deleted.
• End pairing: the shared board and all its notes are deleted from our active systems for both people. Both accounts remain.
• Delete account: When deletion completes, your account and associated personal information are removed from our active systems. If paired, this also deletes the shared board for both people. Your partner's account remains.

Logs and any backup copies may remain under our providers' retention arrangements. We retain correspondence and beta feedback as needed to resolve requests, improve the beta, and meet legal obligations.

Copies on a device may take time to clear, especially while offline. Deleting your Stikee account does not automatically remove records held separately by Apple through TestFlight. Signing out, uninstalling the app, or leaving TestFlight does not delete your Stikee account.

5. Your choices and contacting us

In Stikee Settings, you can edit your profile, end your pairing, or select Delete account. You can manage photo permissions, notifications, and previews in iOS Settings, remove widgets, and manage Stikee's sign-in access through Apple or Google. Changing permissions or sign-in access does not itself delete information already provided to Stikee.

For questions or requests to access, receive a copy of, correct, or delete your information, contact the developer using TestFlight → Stikee → App Details, or reply to your TestFlight invitation email. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Additional rights may apply under the laws where you live.

6. Security and processing locations

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect personal information. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Our main app data is hosted in the United States. Service providers may also process information in other countries where they operate.

7. Website privacy

We do not use our website for advertising or to track your activity across other apps or websites. Our hosting provider processes connection and security information to deliver and protect it.

8. Children's privacy

Stikee is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through Stikee, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post updates here with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will also notify beta testers, such as by email, and obtain consent when required by law.
